RLM Xtreme™

It’s no longer necessary to use costly, awkward, and potentially unsafe metal fixturing that can interfere with system access. Xtreme combines the best UV-C components in a simple, flexible, and affordable system design that’s easily configurable to fit into most any plenum. Its exclusive EncapsuLamp™ (FEP lamp coating) technology protects a system, space, and installer from lamp residues such as gas, mercury, and glass should an accidental lamp break occur. Whether your application is coil irradiation, killing infectious microorganisms, or both, Xtreme delivers flexibility, service life, and the industry’s longest warranties, all at the lowest possible price. For almost a decade, the choice for UV-C has been clear—RLM Xtreme!

DEF Series

The DEF is the most common fixture style in the HVAC industry. With tens of thousands of applications in the U.S. and around the world, its self-contained housing provides everything needed to maximize UV-C benefits in most any HVAC application. The DEF Series is available in both standard (SO) and high output (HO) styles to meet all specifications. Both styles can be used to irradiate coils, glass fiber filters, or other surfaces to eliminate mold, its products, and odors — and also for air disinfection of microbes such as tuberculosis (TB), colds and flu, and other pathogens. Features include waterproof ballasts, Plug-and-Play fixture connections (one to the next), and the longest warranties in the industry. The installation kit, which is included, has everything needed to put DEFs to work most anywhere.

RLM SS Kits

The RLM SS Kits provides all of the flexibility and affordability of the popular RLM Xtreme, but is designed for smaller HVAC systems such as fan coils, heat pumps, and PTACs, all of which are well documented sources of mold, bacteria, odors, and clogged drain pans. Common applications include hotels, mini-marts, hospitals, and schools — the SS Series of lamp lengths of 12", 17", 22" and 33" provide the perfect solution to maximize the benefits of UV-C in these and other small equipment applications. The RLM SS Kits comes with an installation kit, and its lamps are available with EncapsuLamp technology.

X-PLUS™

The X-Plus combine’s maximum UV-C performance with an affordably priced NEMA 4x rated, single-ended lamp fixture that can be used most anywhere UV-C is needed. X-Plus installs on the exterior of most any HVAC unit or duct, outdoors or in, and the lamp projects into the airstream, including those areas downstream of the coil. There is no need to have access to the unit’s interior to install or provide lamp service. The X-Plus also includes excellent safety features including a lockable entry/switch (power off) system, allowing it to be used in areas where there may be unauthorized access, such as schools, universities, military sites, and others. With lamp lengths from 12” to 61”, X-Plus is easily applied to most any rooftop (ideal), through-the-wall, split or packaged system of unusual configuration or location, in systems up to 30 tons and more.

STINGER™

The Stinger was developed especially for the many “under-serviced” or hard to access A/C systems in use today, such as fancoil units, heat pumps, unit ventilators, terminal units, and individual duct runs, or any other small packaged or split system. It installs on the exterior of the equipment to be treated — so there is no need to open the system for installation, or to change its lamp. Stinger is ideal for critical areas too, units above ceilings, or in specialty equipment applications in hospitals, industrial plants, and pharmaceutical plants — anywhere UV-C is needed in small equipment. Stinger employs a state-of-the-art and low voltage power system that safely and efficiently delivers 18 Watts of UV power to difficult applications. Stinger’s components are water resistant and easily serviced, and with its low voltage power source, code and safety issues are greatly reduced. Stinger is safe, simple, and just right for many of today’s applications — it’s also the most affordable and easiest to install choice available in the market.

HORNET™

The Hornet™ brings the same UV-C technology that is used all over the world — from water treatment up to the most critical infectious disease applications at healthcare facilities — into today’s residential and light commercial applications. The Hornet employs the most modern and highly efficient UV-C components available to deliver the energy that keeps HVAC systems, as well as the air we breathe, clean. It efficiently destroys surface and airborne microbes that grow in, and circulate throughout, A/C systems and which impede coil efficiency, clog drain pans, and become major contributors to allergies, airborne transmitted disease, odor, or poor indoor air quality.

The Hornet was developed to be exceptionally safe, easy to install, and simple to use — add in its low power 24V operation, and its applications continue to expand. Hornet’s safety features prevent shock, UV exposure, and accidental lamp breakage. It installs on the exterior of equipment and its lamp projects into the airstream — so there is no need to open the system to install the Hornet, or to change its lamp. Hornet is perfect for today’s applications, providing both peace of mind and an enhanced bottom line.

DOOR SAFETY / INTERLOCK SWITCH

UV Resource recommends that all access doors/panels to areas where UV-C is applied be secured with a safety interlock switch. The switch is a 'normal open' switch that is depressed when the door is closed, energizing the UV-C system.

UVReport™
Multi-Purpose UV-C Radiometric Monitor

UVReport™ UV-C radiometric monitor is the first affordable, multifunctional UV monitor available for UV-C lamp installations in HVAC systems. It features an exclusive resettable timer to display lamp run-time hours and it monitors UV lamp performance from initial installation to lamp change-out. In addition to the ½-inch-high digital display, UVReport also provides green, yellow and red LED indicator lights to alert operators of go / no-go lamp status. The digital readout displays either the percentage of “initial” lamp output or lamp run-time using the toggle pushbutton. The UVReport monitor also provides NO/NC (5-Amp) relay switching to permit remote powering of alarms, lamps, and other devices, or to provide a signal to the building management systems when lamp performance drops below 50%.
